About Magda:

Magda was born in 1928 in Vienna Austria to her parents Franciscs and laib Leopold. When she was eleven years old and the Nazi regime concoured Austria, she was separated from her parents. She had to escape Austria to avoid the Nazis, and by doing so, trying to secure herself a better life. 

 

After the war Magda moved to Genava where she met up with her sister and mother, whom she hasn't seen for a very long time. There she also met Nissim and married him after a few years.

 

In 1951 Magda came to Israel with Nisim. After a lot of difficulties to acclimate in Israel, Magda got used to the Israeli culture and language.

Magda lived in Ramat Aviv, where she painted many of her drawings.

 

Magda was known for her great paintings which were sold and given to the people she loved. Magda  painted for over 50 years and during those years presented her paintings in 4 exhibitions.

 

Magda went once a week to art class and on all the other days she would paint on her own at home.
